AFX Lighted Blazer Rally
 
Late AFX set called Blazer Rally. Comes with a Blue CJ7 Jeep and a Blue and black Chevy Blazer. Both with working lights and M/T chassis. Set #1-80006. It has 15 feet of track including a 3 foot section of flex track. This was one of Aurora's last sets. It was boxed with brown paper to keep everything from bouncing around in the box. I put the cars in bags to protect them. They are just wrapped in paper. All paperwork and accessories are there. The guard rails are nite glo. The guard rails and bridge trestles are still joined together or on the original sprues. This is a brand new set never used. It has no glue or tape sealing the box. The cover art is great. This set is from the late 70's and is in great condition. It is Smokey and the AFX Express. It is complete and like new. The box is in very good condition especially the front. It has all the cardboard inserts inside along with all the paperwork. All the track has no broken pieces. TOMY brand race set called Speed Hook Challenge. Comes with two Super G+ stock cars. Citgo #21 and Zerex #9 Ford T Birds.  Has 18 feet of track with up the wall and over and under features. The main part of this set is the speed hook curves sections. The track tapers down to where two cars can't fit side by side and there is a built in wall that lets you use a drift action to fly through the turn just like the real cars. Tomy Japan Rare Micrex Set
I don't know how many people know about these in the US but Tomy made these smaller than HO scale slot car sets in Japan. Called Micrex these are pretty hard to come by. There were 3 sets made. This one is the middle sized one. Part # MS-02. It is powered by batteries that go into the building. It comes with 1 squeeze lane, 1 straight track, 1 lap counter, 1 terminal track and 6 turns. The connectors are like regular Tomy track. The battery compartment is like new. The cars are a Nissan Rally car in green with Valliant as sponsor and a Nissan GTP car in white and blue. The Valliant is pretty rare. Both cars are in great condition. Also included are guard rails, bridge trestles, controllers and a track cleaning pad. It has been tested and everything works. The cars are unique as how they managed to get a car that small to have a electric motor put in them. The photos shows the size difference from this track to a standard Tomy piece. It comes in its original box which is in good condition. There are no instructions but they are in Japanese so it wouldn't help and it's pretty self explanatory. Something different for a Tomy collector.

Rare Tomy Japan Micrex Set
Tomy made the small slot car sets in Japan only for a few years. Not many people in the US know about them. They are called Micrex and there were 3 sets made. This is the biggest set. Part # MS-03. It has a power pack rather than batteries as the layout is so long. It comes with 8 turns, 7 straights, 1 terminal which is also a computerized lap counter and I believe the two sliding switches on the left are speed controls for kids so they don't fly off the track. It also has a drop down gate when the last lap is done showing the winner. It also comes with the controllers, guard rails, bridge supports and a track cleaning pad. There are no instructions but they would have been in Japanese any way and the set is pretty self explanatory. The set has been tested and everything is good. The cars are a Nissan GT-R Rally car in red and a Concept car in silver. It is amazing how they fit a small motor in these cars. You can see in the photo the difference in size to this track and a standard Tomy. It comes in the original box which is in poor shape but the face of it would be very displayable. Something for the serious Tomy collector.

Tomy Japan Suzuka Four Lane Set
From Tomy Japan is this four lane set called Suzuka Raceway. Made in the 90's this set has the good quality track Japan had. Not like the track being made today. This set is gigantic and has 2 15" terminals, 15 9" turns, 30 12" turns, 8 9"turns 1/8th circle, 8 12"turns 1/8th circle, 18 15" straights and 16 9" straights. It comes with four controllers, two 22 Volt Power Packs, four lane bridge trestles and 30 guard rails. It has to be one of the biggest sets Tomy made. The cars are also very good ones . All rare in the US. One is the Leyton House F1 in a very cool aqua color, the Williams Canon F1, the Bennetton F1 and the Camel Lotus F1. All four cars have the more desirable pointed roll bars. This set is in excellent condition including the box and the cars. It looks like it was never used. You won't have to add any more track to this layout. It has the owners manuals. If you want to start out slot racing this might be the set for you but I would use other cars as these are pretty rare.

Tomy Japan Fuji Night Race Set
From Tomy Japan is this very cool set called Fuji Night Race. The box art on this set is one of the best I have ever seen. It is complete and it all works. It comes with this hairpin chicane track and all the accessories needed to set up and race. The power pack is a healthy 22 volts. The controllers are unique as they have a wheel on the side that is the speed and there is also a switch on the handle that is a Turbo boost that puts the car wide open. They are matched to the cars. It will take time to get used to these but they are cool when you do. The cars are the main items of the set though. They are both from the EX series of cars. One is the Silk Cut Jaguar and the other is the Kenwood Porsche. Both are very sought after by collectors. They both have front and rear lights. Both cars in the set have all the lights working. It comes with all the paper work. The only thing missing is the bag of tune up parts. The entire set is in excellent condition. They box has some wear but would display very well. It also has the carry handle for the box. A rare item to have in the US.

Tyco Japan Set With Substitute Cars and Labels that Cover Them Up
Strange set from Japan is this Tyco set Called Formula Tyco with Nigel Mansell. It is supposed to have two F1 cars but they have been changed with Porsche GTP cars that are rare as they only were sold in Japan. The box has labels that cover the F1 cars and show Porsche GTP cars. One is the Nisseki in white and multiple blues #100 and the other is the From A in yellow, black white and blue #27. The cars show wear on their pick up shoes but the whole set looks hardly used. The box is in great condition. The cars bodies and paint are like new. Strange and unique item for a Tyco collector. Cond 8+.

Tyco Japan Four Lane LeMans Set

I believe this is the largest set Tyco ever made. It is a replica of LeMans in four lanes. This layout is gigantic. Every piece of track is there and in like new condition. No rust or broken tabs. It looks like it was used once. Every accessory is there also. All the bridge trestles, guard rails, controllers and even the tune up parts in the still sealed bag. There are four power packs in the set which is great as there will be no voltage drop in the other lanes. There are 2 standard power packs and two special ones that allow the lanes to all go in the same direction. The only thing missing from this set is the instruction sheet but it was all in Japanese. The layout is on the back of the box and would be easy to set up using the photos. The four cars that come in the set are rare Porsche 962's that were only sold in Japan including the all white Kenwood. All four cars are there and in great condition. All have 440X2 chassis. If you wanted these cars the price would be the highest of the three prices I am going to put on this set. If you wanted this set to use and race you can substitute 4 new NASCAR stock cars. They would be the Goodwrench #3 Havoline #28 Kodak #4 and STP #43. They are all brand new. With these cars the second price would be used. If you just wanted to buy the set with no cars to race with your kids or friends it would be the lowest price. I'm not sure how many feet there are per lane but like I said this layout is gigantic. The box is well packed and fairly small but it weighs a lot so the shipping would be high so consider that. It would be a great start to someone who wanted to race with their kids. You wouldn't have to buy anything else. Cond 9.

Tyco Stock Car Championship slot car set # 6323M. It is in a plain mailer box. There are no numbers or name on the box.  I don't know how long the track length is but from the picture it is a good size. Comes with criss cross tracks, a lap counter track and a squeeze track. All guard rails, flag poles and flags, bridge supports and struts are still bagged. This set was never used. Even has a set of barrels that that you crash through. Everything is in the set and it is all new. The cars are not the ones that came in the set. The set ones are very rare as they only came in this set.  One is the Dupont #24 and the other is the Interstate Batteries #18. The replacement ones are the same sponsors but they are different. Both cars are new. If you want a starter set this would be a good one. It is a big layout and you can race the cars without worrying about damaging them and it is a lot cheaper with these cars. Both cars have 440X2 chassis.  All paper work is included also.

These trains have 440X2 chassis and they look really wild running on the track. They are as fast a regular 44X2 car. Made in 1989 only. The set features criss cross tracks that will let the trains collide. There is a loop the loop section that make the trains do a 360 degree circle without falling off. There are hill and dip sections of track, a cardboard tunnel and all accessories needed to set up and race. There is 17 feet of track and the set comes with the high performance power pack instead of the regular one giving more voltage and speed. Definitely the fastest trains in the world. Slot car set made by Matchbox. Called Spiderman Race and Chase. It comes with the Spiderman car and a Villain van in black. The set is battery powered and can be converted to a power pack. The cars have the unique U Turn feature that lets them run in the opposite direction if you spin out. Neat feature. There are no guard rails as the set has speed corners that widen the width of the turns for the U Turn feature. The speed corners have webbing on them. Also comes with cardboard cutout of a building with Spidey's web trap and a city background. The battery box has Spiderman logos on it. Last but not least is a four way intersection for racing fun. This set is factory sealed with shrink wrap which over time has compressed the boxes four corners. This is common. Made in 1979 only. Box has great artwork. The set is new never opened. Slot car set made by Matchbox. Called The Hulk Road Racing. Made way back in 1979 only. It features 11 feet of track with over and under racing. It comes with the Hulk Van and a Ford Escort rally car in red. The set is battery powered with a power pack option. There is a cardboard cutout of a city and the set comes with all accessories needed to set up and race. The battery box has the Hulk on it. The set was shrink wrapped from the factory but over time the shrink wrap has cracked and split. It is still covering the box and the set has never been opened. One short side of the box has been chewed on by one of my rabbits. Box cover has great artwork of the Hulk. Aurora T Jet Championship Racing Four Lane Set
 
Original Aurora T Jet Championship Racing four lane set. Set is complete except for the cars. The box top is torn on the left side. The face isn't bad and would display nice. The inside plastic organizer is also not bad. Track consists of 2 terminal tracks, 6 9" turns, 6 6" turns, 4 6" straight, 10 9" straight, 4 lane modular bridge supports, 4 tan controllers and a 20 volt power pack that works.  The photo shows gray ones but they will be tan controllers.

Eldon Combination Drag and Race Course Set
 
1967 set made by Eldon. Has some neat features in it. It is a combination set that can be used as a drag strip or a road course. It features a lap counter, a squeeze lane and for the drag strip a neat starting line gate that works by pushing down a plunger and it slowly releases with an air bubble that lets the gate go up. Simple but effective. There is a finish line stand that raises a flag to the lane that gets there first. Also a neat and effective item. There is also a tunnel chute that the cars go into to stop them safely. The set is complete except for the cars but just about any HO car will work. Some of the track pieces have broken connecting tabs and I don't know if they will work with using other brand repair clips.

Bandai From Japan HO Scale Slot Car Set
From the famous toy company in Japan Bandai is this HO scale slot car set. Set # is 2092. Not sure what year it was made but I would think from the 70's. This set is brand new never been played with. The box top has all four corners torn but the front cover would display very well. Set is a figure eight with guard rails bridge trestles controllers and power pack. Cars look to be a Porsche and a Ferrari. Set comes with all paperwork including manual, decal sheet for the cars and a sheet of their other items including photos of the other cars that they made including F1 cars. Something for the avid slot car collector. Cond 8+.

Eldon Collect a Car Raceway
 
If any die cast collectors of HO scale cars thought of slot racing them then this set makes it possible. It is the Eldon Collect a Car raceway. Made in the late 1960's. This lot is the combination of three sets. The power track with the grandstands houses two motors and a gear setup that pull plastic chain links that are in the slots of the track. They have a lot of RPM so I would think the cars will move pretty fast. You tape a guide pin to ANY die cast car and you can race them around the track. I have eliminated all the broken track pieces. The original set came with 5 straight pieces, 6 curves and the power track. This group lot comes with 10 straight pieces, 11 curves and three power tracks. All the power tracks have been tested and they all work. This will allow you to expand the layout to create a lot more different tracks. This lot also comes with more than enough chain links and connectors, 12 bridge trestles to make an over and under layout, three power packs that all work, all the instruction sheets, guide pins and the two sided tape to affix them to the cars. This lot only has a handful of pins. If more pins are needed I believe the Aurora T Jet rear guide pins will work fine and are easy to find. They are longer than the front Aurora pins. You have to trim down the original pins to make each car fit the slot depth in the track depending on the chassis height of the die cast car you want to run. There is some of the tape pieces in this lot. Also comes with 6 controllers that all work. With all the extra items you will have a set that should last a lifetime. This set also comes with the original Eldon die cast cars that came in the set. They are a Camaro in red chrome plate and a Mustang in yellow chrome plate. The Camaro has a cracked roof and wear on the driver door though and the Mustang has a small wear spot on the driver side in front of the back wheel. The tires are hard from age. Both cars are collectible to slot car collectors as they are the bodies from slot cars so there might be some value there. So picture running any cool die cast vehicle around a slot car layout. It would add a whole new dimension into a die cast collectors world. Thanks for looking.
